ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 73-year-old man Peter Thomas.
Peter has not been seen or heard from since 6pm yesterday (Friday, 22 August 2025), and was last seen in Bruce.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 170 cm (5’7”) tall, with a slim build and bald head.
He was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, light trousers and a beige flat cap.
Peter is believed to be travelling in a 2017 white Subaru Outback station wagon bearing ACT registration YOR51C. He is known to frequent Belconnen Bunnings, Westfield, Lake Ginninderra and Costco.
Peter has dementia and does not have a mobile phone.
Police and Peter’s family hold concerns for his welfare, and are requesting the public’s assistance to locate him.
