
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an assault in Watson earlier this week that resulted in one man being hospitalised with facial injuries.
On Monday afternoon (7 April 2025), a white Toyota Hilux utility parked in the driveway of a home on Officer Crescent in Ainslie was damaged.
After discovering the damage, two men attended a home on Antill Street in Watson where they were allegedly attacked by a group of men, leaving a 44-year-old man with facial injuries that required hospital treatment.
Officers arrived a short time later and at about 10pm that evening, a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were arrested at a residence on Knox Street, Watson.
Both men were charged with joint commission assault occasioning actual bodily harm and faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday (8 April 2025).
Enquiries into the incident and other offences are ongoing and police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
