A 42-year-old Charnwood man will face court today after being released from custody yesterday.

In November 2023, the man received a court imposed good behaviour order to not commit another offence for 18 months.

Yesterday (Friday, 11 April 2025) the man appeared in court for alleged driving offences committed in 2024 and was granted bail with restrictions including not to drive a vehicle unless correctly licenced to do so.

About 10.50pm last night, police patrolling the Belconnen area sighted a motorbike with no lights travelling at high speed and soon after stopped the motorcycle and rider near Coppins Crossing Road.

The rider was identified and it was confirmed he did not hold a valid licence and that the motorbike he was riding was unregistered.

The man will face court today (Saturday, 12 April 2025) charged with breaching a good behaviour order, breach of bail, unlicenced driving and using an unregistered vehicle.
