Police seek witnesses and dash-cam footage of dangerous driving incidents

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of alleged dangerous driving incidents involving a red Subaru station wagon and a blue Porsche Macan.

About 5.55am yesterday (Tuesday, 24 September 2024), police responded to a two vehicle collision on Kingsford Smith Drive, Latham.

The driver of one of the vehicles involved in the collision, being the red Subaru, was picked up and fled the scene in the blue Porsche prior to police arriving.

Police received numerous 000 calls a short time later regarding the Porsche being driven dangerously and at high speeds across the South district.

About 8.35am, the Porsche was located by police in Chisholm, however there were no occupants within the vehicle.

Both vehicles were reported to police as stolen.

Police would like to speak to anyone who observed either the Subaru or Porsche being driven dangerously between about 5.20am and 8.35am yesterday morning, or who may have dash-cam footage of the vehicles.
