Police seize drugs, cash, and a firearm during search warrant

A 34-year-old woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning after police located drugs, cash, and a firearm while executing a search warrant yesterday.

Following an investigation into suspected drug trafficking committed by the woman, ACT Policing’s Proactive Intervention and Diversion Team conducted a search warrant at a residence in Scullin yesterday.

Police located approximately 100g of suspected methamphetamine, $4000 in cash, and a replica handgun.

The woman was subsequently arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of crime, and contravening a requirement in an order during the course of the search warrant.
