ACT Policing has executed five search warrants in the past fortnight in relation to three alleged assault incidents that occurred earlier this year.
In July 2024, police received reports of three assaults that occurred after men were lured to locations using a dating app.
Following a thorough investigation, five search warrants have been executed at various residences in the ACT and NSW throughout the last fortnight – including some as recent as yesterday.
As a result of these search warrants, several electronic devices have been seized, and a number of youths have been spoken to by police.
At this time no arrests have been made in relation to these incidents, however investigations remain ongoing.
Incidents such as these are taken very seriously, and anyone who has been a victim of an assault under similar circumstances is encouraged to contact police on 131 444.
As this is an ongoing investigation, no further comment will be made.
