A 19-year-old Campbell man has been charged with sexual assault following a police investigation.
In May this year (2024) police received a report of an alleged sexual assault incident at a residential facility in Campbell.
Specialist investigators from ACT Policing’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team (SACAT) conducted inquiries and yesterday (Thursday, 10 October 2024) executed search warrants at the residential facility.
A 19-year-old man was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent. He is scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday, 11 October 2024).
