Witnesses sought to suspicious house fire in Giralang

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a suspicious house fire that occurred in Giralang last night.

About 10.30pm (Sunday, 1 December 2024), ACT Fire & Rescue and police attended a house fire on Gidjili Place, Giralang.

The fire was quickly contained, and no people were injured.

Following an examination of the scene, the fire was deemed suspicious, and police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the vicinity of Gidjili Place prior to 10.30pm last night, or who may have dash-cam footage from the area before or during the fire.
