Witnesses sought to North Lyneham house fire

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a house fire that caused significant structural damage in North Lyneham early today.

About 2.45am this morning (Sunday, 26 March 2023) police and ACT Fire & Rescue were called to a house fire in Cossington Smith Crescent, North Lyneham.  

The fire was extinguished by ACT Fire & Rescue however it sustained significant structural damage. The property was not being lived in and police do not believe anyone was in the property at the time of the incident.  

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity around the property or on Cossington Smith Crescent, North Lyneham prior to 2.45am this morning is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or visit via theCrime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote 7387444.
