Police arrest man for April armed robbery

ACT Policing arrested a 37-year-old Rivett man yesterday as investigations into an April 2023 aggravated robbery continue.

A search warrant was executed on the man’s residence on Thursday, 8 June 2023, and the man was placed under arrest.

He will face court today charged with aggravated robbery (in company), possession of an offensive weapon with intent, riding in a motor vehicle without consent, and breach of good behaviour obligations.

Police investigations into the identity of a second man believed to have been involved in the robbery are continuing, anyone with information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
