Public assistance sought to identify ram raid offender

ACT Policing is seeking public assistance to identify a man believed to be responsible for a ram-raid at the Mawson shops in June.

About 3.00am on Thursday, 8 June (2023) a stolen white Subaru Impreza was driven through a shopfront at the Mawson shops, causing extensive damage to two businesses.

The driver of the Subaru left the scene shortly after, with the car located on 13 June (2023) burnt out in Fisher.

After following other investigative leads, today police are releasing a CCTV image of the man believed to be involved in the incident.

Police would like to speak to anyone who can identify him or who witnessed the incident on 8 June 2023.
